Lil Wayne Promises Third Time’s The Charm W/ New Announcement

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne‘s looking out for his New Orleans hometown for a third straight year. The hip-hop heavyweight has announced the third annual Lil Weezyana festival.

Last night, Wayne went to Twitter to deliver the big news and promise special guests would pull through.

A few weeks ago, Lil Wayne reunited with Young Money protégés Drake and Nicki Minaj.

Wayne and Nicki made sure to slay the stage for their “Light My Body Up” collaboration.

Featuring appearances by Jason Derulo, David Guetta and Lil Wayne, the set list featured all of your favorite hits from the rapper and then some. Dance moves and fire effects also helped create a party mood. As for Nicki’s outfit, the Internet quickly started comparing the bondage-inspired look to that of Catwoman. (E! News)
