Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has been chosen to perform in London this summer for a one-night only performance that will also feature Kid Cudi.
Weezy will take center stage at the UK’s popular Apollo venue.
The rapper has announced details of a one-off UK gig this July. Wayne plays London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo venue on July 6. It is only the fourth time in Lil Wayne’s career that he has played in the UK. (NME News)
He will also be joined alongside G.O.O.D. Music artist Kid Cudi.
It has just been announced that Lil Wayne and Kid CuDi will be doing a rare UK gig on 6th July at the Hammersmith Apollo. The self proclaimed ‘best rapper alive’ (since the best decided to retire – and then come out of retirement) will be gracing our shores once again with the Day and Night artist as special guest. The tickets for this event will be up on sale on Ticketmaster from Friday (April 3). After being pushed back from April 7 to May 19, Lil Wayne’s new album Rebirth, which will feature rock materials, is once again delayed. The album has been pushed back to June 9,LilWayneHQ.com has exclusively confirmed. It was previously scheduled to go head-to-head with Eminem‘s Relapse and Busta Rhymes‘ Back On My B.S. on May 19, but now it will go head-to-head with Black Eyed Peas‘ The E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies). Lil Wayne is taking his “I Am Music” tour back on the road. Most of the supporting cast from the first trek — T-Pain, Keri Hilson, Gym Class Heroes and Gorrilla Zoe — are coming back too. Keyshia Cole won’t be returning. Wayne and friends start touring again March 17 in Providence, Rhode Island, and finally end on March 31 in Salt Lake City. (MTV)
