Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne may have a cemented spot on Forbes' annual most wealthiest hip-hop artists list, however, he revealed his fame did not grant him access to Thursday (May 31) night's San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder Western Conference Finals Game 3.

Hopping on Twitter, the New Orleans native said the OKC team banned him from their arena.

“Was going to go to the Thunder game tonight but was denied by the team to be in their arena. Wow. Smh. Go Spurs!,” he tweeted May 31st.

Despite Weezy F. Baby’s accusations, an OKC representative explained what really went down.

Oklahoma City spokesman Dan Mahoney told the Associated Press that Lil’ Wayne’s representatives did contact the team about a ticket, but the courtside seat that was requested was not available. “We’d love to have him at a game, but like anyone else, he needs a ticket,” Mahoney said. Lil’ Wayne has claimed in the past to be a Los Angeles Lakers fan in an article he wrote for ESPN The Magazine. The Thunder knocked out the Lakers in the Western Conference Semifinals. (Fox Sports)

Prior to getting eliminated by the Thunder in the last round, Wayne declared his love for Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

“He’s inspired not only songs, but he’s inspired me in life in general just the way he attacks things, the way he never backs down, the way he fights through injury,” Lil Wayne said. “Not only do he fight through injury, and not only do he play through injury, he excel through injury. I take those type of things and I just apply them to my everyday life.” (Los Angeles Times)

Last year, Wayne aired out the Miami Heat for not showing him enough support when attending their home games.

When Wayne sat court-side at a recent Miami Heat/New Orleans Hornets game he was upset that Lebron James and Dwayne Wade never came over to talk to him. “Them n*ggas never speak to a n*gga,” he says. “They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. N*gga spent all that money on them f*cking tickets … Come holla at me. We sit right by them little b*tch-a** n*ggas. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.” (Rolling Stone)

Thunder star James Harden is reportedly dating Wayne’s ex-girlfriend/rapper Trina.

HoopsVibe has it from inside sources that Lil Wayne and Trina were caught making out at Monica’s album release party last night. It had already been well established that Lil Wayne broke up with ex-girlfriend DHEA and that we all knew Lil Wayne and Trina had previously dated. It was also well established that Trina was dating 6 Man of The Year winner James Harden of the Oklahoma Thunder, but who could have predicted Lil Wayne and Trina would rekindle their relationship at Club LIV in Miami last night and embarrass Harden like this in the middle of the playoffs. Our source inside the club says Trina also went home with Lil Wayne after the club got out. (Hoops Vibe)
