Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne‘s decision to release some hit tracks have landed Cash Money boss Baby in big trouble.
According to reports, Birdman has a multi-million dollar lawsuit on his head courtesy of two Weezy F. Baby tunes.
Lil Wayne and Cash Money sampled some obscure tracks for the songs, “You” and “Certified.” Seems Cash Money shorted the songwriters — ironically exactly what Wayne claims Birdman did to him in a separate, multi-million dollar lawsuit. Birdman and Cash Money now have to pay the piper … to the tune of $3.3 mil. (TMZ)
Last night (August 21), Wayne invaded Cash Money protégé Drake’s Summer Sixteen Tour show in Philadelphia.
Over the weekend, Wayne had to apologize for turning into a concert no-show.
Earlier the same evening, the Oklahoma concert venue announced its cancelled event.
