Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne and Christina Milian treated fans to new music with a performance of their joint track "Start A Fire" at last night's "American Music Awards" show.
The duo appeared at the annual awards ceremony and debuted the unexpected record.

According to Milian, Wayne had stashed away “Start A Fire.”
“This record has actually been around for a second and actually while we were filming the show. His manager Cortez heard the song and was like, ‘Wayne needs this on his album’ and literally when we were filming the episode while we were in the studio; that’s how that whole thing happened.” (E! Despite her close-knit bond to Wayne, R&B singer Nivea recently said she could not see his rumored girlfriend attending any family events.
“Oh, that’s not going to [happen]. He knows better than that. What the public doesn’t know is that there’s a conversation that’s already been had between Wayne and I before that [Instagram comment] was ever [posted]. So it was not a messy thing. It was my way of saying to everyone, ‘I don’t condone this.’ You can’t control what people do with their lives. But I was just…a lot of things have been going on with my relationships in the past to people were, ‘Oh my God! I guess they all like…’ and just a lot of speculation. Instead of taking the gossip seriously, Milian’s ex-husband The-Dream recently pointed out why their alleged hook up was hard to believe.
The R&B crooner tells Vlad TV that he finds the situation to be strange, especially since Milian and Wayne’s alleged coupling would create a love rectangle — The-Dream’s first ex-wife and mother of his three kids, Nivea, shares a child with Wayne. “I think that’s what everybody was thinking when the news broke,” he said. “Everybody was thinking of that but supposedly Christina,” he said. “She wasn’t thinking of that at all. I have no idea how she could not be thinking of that.” (ABC News Radio Online)
I knew about Christina in 2000 when she was on that song with Ja. Now she can only be around whenever Wayne is. Shout out to all the artists who can do it on their own.
She’s a good looking chick. That’s her talent. No disrespect to her but that’s what it is.
