Details of the lawsuit bubbled online Friday (February 8) evening.

Skateboards are really REALLY dangerous … so says a Lil Wayne fan who claims one of the rapper’s goons grabbed one and bashed him in the head with it back in May … and now the fan is suing. The man on the receiving end of the attack is Alfredo Marino — who claims he spotted Weezy on the streets of L.A. last year and tried to take a photo. (TMZ)

The victim claims he endured injuries to his head from the attack.

But according to Marino’s lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court by attorney Craig Chisvin, a man who works for Wayne grabbed a skateboard and clubbed him in the back of the head. Marino claims he suffered a severe injury to his melon from the incident — and is pointing the finger at Wayne and Wayne’s record label because he believes they were responsible for enabling the attacker. Marino is suing for unspecified damages. Calls to Wayne’s camp have not been returned. (TMZ)

Last weekend, Weezy made headlines for getting into a publicized altercation in New Orleans.

Lil Wayne got into an altercation with a cameraman following Saturday’s DirectTV Celebrity Beach Bowl in New Orleans. Things don’t seem to have gotten physical, but from the pictures and brief video of the incident, there was a lot of finger pointing and angry words let out on Birdman Jr’s behalf. Wayne was eventually restrained by Hall of Fame quaterback Warren Moon before things could get out of hand. (XXL Mag)

Following the altercation, Wayne stepped up to address what took place.

“[I’m pissed] because one of these camera dudes just pushed me just now,” Wayne said moments after the altercation. “And I don’t like to be touched by people I don’t tell to touch me so I’m gonna get out of the building because if I touch somebody, I go to jail because they not the color of me, they’re not the same color I am so you know how that go. But to them? F*ck you!” (E! News)
