On the show, Weezy F. Baby refers to the Italian sidekick as his wife-to-be.

Is Lil Wayne engaged to his girlfriend Dhea Sodana? In the new commercial for ‘The Show With Vinny,’ Lil Wayne refers to Dhea as his fianceé — has he got something to tell the world? Ladies start weeping – Lil Wayne is off the market! In a commercial for Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino‘s new show The Show With Vinny, the rap star talks about his “fiancée.” Did he get engaged to love term girlfriend Dhea Sodano? Wayne, 30, has been dating Dhea for nearly two years, and when he appeared on Vinny’s show he insinuated that she was more than just his girlfriend! When Vinny asks Wayne if he’s ever eaten Italian food before, he replies, “My fiancée is Italian.” Vinny’s mother then asks where in Italy his lady is from, “Sicily or Naples” and the multi-platinum rapper touts, “Arizona.” (Hollywood Life)

Last year, Wayne hopped onto his Twitter page to deny engagement rumors.

“Ohhhhhhh now I see why! I meant “she said yes” to being my valentine!!! Hahahahahahaha! Y’all krazy!,” he tweeted Wednesday (February 15). (Lil Wayne’s Twitter)

In the wee hours prior, Wayne sent the Internet into a fury after making a suspicious, open-ended tweet.

Lil Wayne had two reasons to celebrate on Valentine’s Day – he reportedly proposed to his girlfriend, who is also expecting a baby. The Lollipop hitmaker popped the question to cocktail waitress Dhea on Tuesday and he appears to have hinted at the happy news in a Twitter.com message. The post on Wednesday reads, “She said yes!” A representative for the star has yet to comment on the reports but sources tell MediaTakeOut.com Dhea is also pregnant. (Toronto Sun)

Reports claimed Weezy gave a secret lady something special the previous night.

Lil Wayne pulled off the ultimate romantic gesture last night at a swanky Miami restaurant — slipping his girlfriend a FAT ring hidden inside a dessert … and then shouting to the restaurant, “SHE SAID YES!” Sources at Barton G restaurant tell TMZ, Weezy secretly handed wait staff a ring with a giant yellow rock on it during his meal — and asked them to slip it inside the restaurant’s signature sundae. Moments later, after the dessert was delivered to his table, we’re told Lil Wayne jumped up and shouted to the entire restaurant — “SHE SAID YES!!!” (TMZ)

Additional inside sources claimed Wayne was engaged, despite his denial.

Despite contradictory tweets from Wayne early Wednesday morning (Feb. 15), Weezy did pop the question to his girlfriend of nearly a year Dhea, a source close to the Young Money camp confirmed to XXLMag.com. The news comes after the YMCMB superstar took to his Twitter account (@LilTunechi) during the wee hours of Wednesday morning and tweeted, “She said yes.” The tweet was followed by congratulation messages/retweets from Mack Maine, Mystikal, Birdman, and more. The tweet caused many to wonder if Wayne in fact popped the big question to his girlfriend, Dhea. (XXL Mag)

Their romance reportedly dates back to May 2011.

Wayne and Dhea were first spotted out and about in Miami back in May 2011, and Complex magazine dug up some information on the rapper’s leading lady, reporting that she is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, and previously worked at Suede Restaurant & Lounge in her hometown. They’ve been snapped out and about at plenty of basketball games and even hanging with Wayne’s kids and his ex-wife Toya. (RapFix)
