Rap newcomer Lil Uzi Vert looks like he might have his Luv Is Rage 2 studio release coming whether higher ups like it or not. The hip-hop artist has sent an open warning about the project’s inevitable release.
Uzi jumped on Instagram Thursday (April 13) with a hopeful subliminal message.
A few days ago, Atlanta producer Don Cannon served up an update on Lil Uzi’s upcoming release.
“If you didn’t hear, LUV Is Rage is not dropping no time soon. It’s not going to be a long time from now, but not within this month. We still working on the album. It’s a process. You got to make the album, mix the album, master the album. Put it out. That takes time when you’re perfecting it. You know, we’re trying to get the sounds. For the producers and rappers out there, we don’t just make beats.”

Recently, Uzi Vert sparked social media’s attention after going on a mini-Twitter rant about his album delay.
Some media speculation has already assumed a potential Uzi suspect.
It didn’t take long before Twitter followers started to guess the “old person” he was referring to is DJ Drama, whom LUV is signed to via the label Generation Now. The “You Was Right” rapper has since deleted the tweets. Then again, the assumptions about Dram could be wrong. (XXL Mag)
