Scrappy hopped onto his Twitter page to thank not only the fans and God, but a strong legal team for getting him through the publicized jam.

“Yoo foo foo all my #GRUSTLEGANG fam an patnas the judge said it was petty an let a nicca go I feel great, in back out an dnt stress,” Scrappy tweeted April 24th.

“I’m free thanks too God my Lord an savior Jesus Christ an the the vessel he used to support me @davis&boseman”

Scrappy was able to exit the jail yesterday (April 24) but must report back for a mid-May hearing.

Scrap had a warrant out for his arrest following a probation violation for submitting a tampered drug test, and refusing to take a new one. A judge ordered Scrappy’s release after his lawyer filed a successful motion to have the warrant recalled, saying the rapper maintains he never submitted a falsified urine sample in the first place. A hearing has been set for May 16 to determine the rapper’s fate. (BET)

THe rapper’s legal woe turned into a hot topic earlier in the week.

Lil Scrappy is a lil’ jailbird — the rapper-slash-reality star turned himself in to an ATL jail this morning after cops say he refused to submit to a court-ordered urine test … TMZ has learned. We broke the story … officials say Scrappy violated his probation back in March after a dispute over a pee test. According to court officials, Scrappy tried to turn in a urine sample that was cold to the touch and may have been tampered with … and when asked to submit another cup, he refused. The court eventually issued a warrant for his arrest … and moments ago, the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star turned himself in. (TMZ)

A few days ago, Scrap’s name sprouted online over an outstanding legal debt.

The 29-year-old Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star will finally be making good on a 3-year debt he’s been neglecting. Back in 2010, Scrappy was ordered by the Georgia court to pay $72,218.68 to a concert booking company called Heavy Rotation. Three years later, the number is now up to $108,510.38 with interest and attorney’s fees. Whoops. Now the court has signed off on a payment plan that entitles Heavy Rotation to a chunk of Scrappy’s Love & Hip Hop paychecks as soon as they are issued to him, until the debt is satisfied. Zoinks! Lil Scrappy and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta co-star Erica Dixon have a child together. Ironically enough, one of Lil Scrappy’s most well-known rap tunes is called “Money in the Bank.” (Wet Paint)
