Chicago rap newcomer Lil Reese is catching bad press this week as new footage has surfaced online and shows him brutally attacking a female.
The video premiered online early Thursday (October 25) morning and has sent shockwaves across the Internet.
There is a video going around that shows Lil Reese, a rapper from Chicago who just got signed to a major label, beating the life outta some girl. Lil Reese claims the video was filmed a year or two ago. I don’t listen to Lil Reese’s music or know anything about him, but I read a few tweets from hip hop blogs that claim the girl Lil Reese was beating is actually his baby momma. According to statistics, one in four women (25%) has experienced domestic violence in her lifetime, and one in five teens in a serious relationship reports having been hit, slapped, or pushed by a partner. So if she is a battered baby momma, she is not alone. (Chicago Now)
The altercation reportedly took place between Reese and his baby’s mother.
The young couple seem to have some sort of issue, that’s caused a stressful rift. As a barrage of words are exchanged, an omen to what’s to come is spoken. “Keep Your Hands to your self though,” says the teen mother. She continues after Lil Reese makes a threat of some sort, saying “They aint stop making guns after they made yours.” From that point. Lil Reese asks the girl “Why you keep talking to me like that” and put his hand on her chin. Not amused, she snatches the rapper’s hand off her face. From that point things get ugly. Lil Reese looks to throw a quick right-handed slap, to his his kid’s mother. He reaches around her friend, who was trying to de-escalate the situation, connecting with a quick tap. Shortly after, the girl retalliates with a quick tap. (CKHid)
Reese has already hopped on his Twitter page to claim the footage stems from the past.
“The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh*t from years ago d*mnn we winnin it’s 2 late…#3hunna,” he tweeted October 25th. (Lil Reese’s Twitter)
Since getting uploaded online, the violent footage has received over 50,000 views.
