Brooklyn rapper Lil' Kim's representative has stepped forward to lash out over a recent gossip report which makes numerous plastic surgery accusations on the hip-hop veteran's facial features.
The Queen Bee’s rep took direct aim at a recent Media Take Out write-up.
Her rep, C.J. Carter, explained that the article “can only be described as fictitious, malicious, and despicable.” He continued, “We would like to inform fans, the media, and the general public that this is nothing more than the blog site doing its best to conjure up much needed publicity and what better way to do so, than to take an American music icon and create a fictitious platform in which to disrespect and humiliate. We at Team Lil Kim are not taking this lying down and are taking this matter very seriously.” (E! Online)
In early February, various bloggers reported on Kim possibly going under the knife.
Oh, Kim….We thought Lil’ Kim was done with modifying her face, but looks like the rapper went back under the knife once again! She was spotted just a couple days ago leaving BOA Steakhouse in WeHo with a brand new face! Her cheeks seem to look a bit more plumped up along with a smaller nose and contoured eyes, which makes us think that she was more than happy to show off her new look! We get wanting a little nip and tuck here and there, but this is plastic surgery overload! Now she’s just starting to look like a Jackson! You have such character, Kim! Leave that cute face alone! Further speculation is she had work done on her face dating back to last March.
The “Queen Bee” singer had been rumored to have undergone plastic surgery in March 2012, and in recent photos she seems to have a lighter complexion, a much fuller face and a distinctive new nose. Judging from the photos, “Lil’ Kim seems to have undergone significant alteration of her face, and not for the better,” Dr. Boris Ackerman, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Newport Beach, CA told the New York Daily News. Coincidentally, Kim’s arch rap rival Nicki Minaj recently denied having plastic surgery done to her facial features.
In an interview with Extra, Nicki told correspondent Renee Bargh: “I’ve never had surgery on my face. They’ll see contour and they’ll think you had surgery on your nose, no no no, look at RuPaul’s drag race and you’ll see how you can make your nose look any shape you want. When people see my makeup they think all types of crazy things that I’m doing to my skin, but it’s makeup.” (Hollywood Life)
