According to Kim, both artists fired shots at her and the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul”, Mary J. Blige.

“I think this other b*tch got a song with Keyshia Cole, right? Coming at me and the mothaf*cking other queen, Mary J. Blige,” Kim told a crowd of fans on New Years. “Me and my girl Mary J. Blige about to eat these b*tches alive where they won’t even f*cking exist no more and erase their f*cking social security number! We gon’ remind them who the f*ck we are! I’m not playing with this b*tch for 2011. I’m saying, we can rock together but b*tch you ain’t taking nothing from me!” (Ron Paul Raps TV)

Kim reportedly declared her issues with Minaj and Cole at a Pennsylvania concert.

Just because it’s a new year does not mean everything starts with a clean slate. On New Years, Lil Kim hosted a party in Pennsylvania and saw another perfect opportunity to take shots at Nicki Minaj. Nothing new there, right? Things took another turn when Kim decided to throw Keyshia Cole in the mix – someone who she has worked with in the past. Kim took offense to the collaboration and even asserted the two attempted to diss her and Mary J. Blige. Someone must have put a size D battery in Kim’s back and she took the bait and did a Carl Lewis sprint with it. (Karen Civil)

Last month, Cole discussed working with Minaj on their “I Ain’t Thru” collaboration.

“The label didn’t really want to drop the record because they knew — that people wanted a more intense, soulful record from me about love and I really should have followed [their] direction,” Cole revealed in an interview. “But I wanted that to be a statement record. It’s like saying, ‘I’m doing me, you know. I don’t have no regrets for nothing that I’m doing.’ … I just think that people expect me to be, you know, an artist that sings about just love. But I’m always growing as an artist and I have to feed my artistry.” (Associated Press)

In 2007, Kim and Cole joined forces and dropped a joint record called “Let It Go.”

“Let It Go” is a song by R&B singer Keyshia Cole released as the lead single from her second album Just like You. It features rappers Lil’ Kim and Missy Elliott. Elliott also produced the song, which samples “Juicy Fruit” by Mtume, and “Don’t Stop the Music” by Yarbrough and Peoples. This song also interpolates “Juicy” by The Notorious B.I.G., who also sampled “Juicy Fruit”. The single debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 74 on the issue date of July 7, 2007, and peaked at number 7, becoming Cole’s third top ten hit single altogether and first top ten Billboard Hot 100 single as a lead artist.
