Brought out by Shawty Lo during an Atlanta concert this weekend, Kim revealed her new Unit association.

“I brought the queen, Lil’ Kim,” said Shawty Lo while introducing the notorious raptress as his surprise guest at Hot 107.9’s Birthday Bash 16 in Atlanta on Saturday (June 18). But the bigger surprise was what the Queen Bee said when she took the stage at Philips Arena after performing “It’s All About the Benjamins.” “If ya’ll don’t know, this my boy right here. G-Unit South, that’s where it’s at,” proclaimed Kim, revealing that the “Dey Know” rapper is now part of the G-Unit roster and she may be following suit. “And I’m family too, down with the G-Unitcamp. We got surprises for ya’ll.” (Rap-Up)

In addition to signing artists like “Jersey Shore” reality star DJ Pauly D recently, 50 inked Shawty Lo to G-Unit earlier this month.

“It’s just a big movement and I’m promoting me and and my whole team,” Lo explained in an interview. ” It’s about to be a South take over right here. I had a couple of meetings with a lot of labels but our vibe was just so good and I just signed by the X…But I’m a boss too so I didn’t sign as an artist. It’s D4L/G-Unit. I feel like what he’s bringing to the table my previous label should have done and I just needed a little push behind me.” (Hip Hop Wired)

Last December, Kim discussed her admiration toward the G-Unit leader.

“That’s my baby man. Like, 50, I’ve always been a fan of his, but I’m a big fan all over again. He is ’bout to… he is getting ready… it’s gonna be crazy, that’s all I got to say. I’m loving his new stuff. The stuff we working on together is gonna be crazy… This time around it’s not gonna be just one song. It’s gonna be a whole movie behind it, so I’m excited about this project.” (Hot 97)

Prior to denying the rumors, reports landed online last year claiming she signed a deal with Jay-Z‘s Roc Nation.

Brooklyn’s female rapper and actress Lil Kim has officially signed a record deal with Jay-Z label Roc Nation. This rumor has been floating around for a while, but earlier today, industry insiders confirmed this rumor. A major announcement should be made soon. As of press, no word on when Kim’s new album will be dropping. The big homie Jay-Z is expected to be executive producing Kim’s new album. Roc Nation is an entertainment, management, and music publishing company, founded in 2008 by Jay-Z. In 2009, Kanye West became the CEO. (Hip Hop Beef)
