Resorting to her Twitter page, Kim explained her issues with Cole.

“Let me address somethings since the media is blowing sh*t outta proportion,” Kim wrote January 2nd.

“i’ve always had love 4 @keyshiacole but i would have never let anyone catch reck on her on my track cause keyshia was my friend in my eyes.”

“all i was saying on NYE was me & @maryjblige do what we do & are who we are. & when me n mary collab its always a movie. that’s my sister.” (Lil Kim’s Twitter)

Kim openly called out Cole and Minaj during a New Year’s Eve celebration in Pennsylvania.

“I think this other b*tch got a song with Keyshia Cole, right? Coming at me and the mothaf*cking other queen, Mary J. Blige,” Kim told a crowd of fans on New Years. “Me and my girl Mary J. Blige about to eat these b*tches alive where they won’t even f*cking exist no more and erase their f*cking social security number! We gon’ remind them who the f*ck we are! I’m not playing with this b*tch for 2011. I’m saying, we can rock together but b*tch you ain’t taking nothing from me!” (Ron Paul Raps TV)

Last month, Cole discussed working with Minaj on their “I Ain’t Thru” collaboration.

“The label didn’t really want to drop the record because they knew — that people wanted a more intense, soulful record from me about love and I really should have followed [their] direction,” Cole revealed in an interview. “But I wanted that to be a statement record. It’s like saying, ‘I’m doing me, you know. I don’t have no regrets for nothing that I’m doing.’ … I just think that people expect me to be, you know, an artist that sings about just love. But I’m always growing as an artist and I have to feed my artistry.” (Associated Press)

Cole’s latest solo album debuted within the sales chart last week.

R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s Calling All Hearts debuted on the chart this week landing at No. 9. After seven days in stores, the singer’s latest LP pushed out 128,000 records. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
