Details of Jon’s debt became publicized this week.

Rapper Lil’ Jon: The IRS filed a $638,937 lien against Lil’ Jon on June 24, 2008, with the Charleston County (S.C.) Recorder. The address on the lien is his $1.9 million oceanfront home in Isle of Palms. Well, it used to be his. It was foreclosed and sold in August. (Detroit News)

Last October, Jon became one of many artists serving pizzas for charity in New York City.

Meat Loaf, Lil Jon, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray and John Rich of country duo Big & Rich were among the celebrities selling pies at Famiglia’s Pizza in downtown New York on Tuesday (Oct. 19). The stunt, which attracted a growing crowd of onlookers throughout the day, was part of a television shoot widely rumored to be for the upcoming season of Donald Trump‘s NBC reality franchise, “Celebrity Apprentice.” Lil Jon stood outside the pizzeria and held up signs promoting the sale of the “celebrity” pizza, with the proceeds for each pie going to charity. The rapper’s pizza flipping was reportedly for the taping of “Celebrity Apprentice.”

The taping of “The Celebrity Apprentice” officially began rolling on Tuesday, October 19 when the stars were out selling pizzas for charity. As usual, the very first task in the reality show is a battle of gender and it revolves around food. The show had previously assigned celebrities to sell hot dogs, cup cakes and burgers. Last summer, Jon released his latest solo album, Crunk Rock.

Evening things in Top 50 is Lil Jon’s Crunk Rock which debuted at No. 49. With seven days knocked out, Jon’s comeback album has sold 8,900 units. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
