It’s a great experience to be a part of the School Dance movie. You gotta tip your hat off to him. Nick is the one who was able to bring us all together.

He gets a bad rap because people think he’s lame, and I’m not just saying this because I f*ck with him, but he’s not as lame as most people think he is. He’s actually a cool guy. I’ve never actually seen anyone fake lame but he’s good at faking lame. He’s not really that lame.

At the end of the day, he’s really a cool guy and knows what he’s doing. I f*ck with him.

He gave us the freedom to do what we wanted to do. He gave us the skeleton of the characters and let us go off of it. He trusted us as comedians to go off and take it to where it needed to be. It came out great.

I’ve been working with Nick Cannon. He was doing “Wild N Out” and I’ve been knowing Nick for a while. People don’t expect me to know these people that well because I don’t hang on social media and entertainers as much. I mostly focus on the people and the fans. I’m not an industry-type cat.

I’ve been in the game for 15 years. These people have been in the game just as long. We’re all friends. It’s not like I got a tweet and he was like, “I want to put you in this movie.” I’ve known Nick and he was like, “I got this project I’m working on and I want you to be a part of it.” I was like, “Hell yeah!”
