Boosie Bad Azz’s cousin, Donkey, jumped onto Twitter this past weekend to unleash his feelings.

Lil Boosie is still in jail for hiring a hitman to kill someone but it seems like the streets of Baton Rouge are just as crazy as they were when Boosie went in–if not worse. Apparently, Baton Rouge is increasingly violent and Boosie’s cousin, Donkey, who is also a rapper, doesn’t even want to go back to their city due to the immense violence. “DAMN!!!!!! I BE WISHING I CAN BRING EVERYBODY IN BR “OUR CITY” TOGETHER!!!!!! INSTEAD OF ALL THAT SENSELESS KILLING FOR NOTHING!!!!#CRAZY,” he tweeted on Sunday. Obviously, Lil Boosie is out of the loop since he has been locked up for quite some time now but most likely when he is released he won’t be heading back to Baton Rouge either. (Celebs Gather)

Over the summer, fellow Baton Rouge rapper Webbie spoke to SOHH about his city’s renowned violence scene.

“You know, I’m from Baton Rouge, New Orleans is about an hour away,” Webbie told SOHH. “Shout-out to the Hot Boys. Hurricane Katrina went through New Orleans, it went through Baton Rouge, and violence goes on everywhere. Baton Rouge is murder capital of the world. Shout-out to all the kids, all I can do is tell them to stay in school and try to be somebody. It’s real out here. If you ain’t real, don’t go out there. It’s crazy. It’s crazy, man. Pray up. You have to stay prayed up and focused, man.” (SOHH)

A photo of Boosie letting out a smirk during a Louisiana prison event made its rounds online last month.

Lil Boosie is trying to keep his spirits up. The Baton Rouge rapper is currently incarcerated on drug charges. However, he was recently granted some time outside the pen. He was spotted at the Angola State Prison Annual Rodeo, where he was smiling as someone taking a picture. Boosie is rumored to be home in a few months, but many sources indicate it will be at the beginning of 2014. (XXL Mag)

Recently, Boosie’s attorney claimed new music from the rapper was on deck along with a pending release date.

Lil Boosie, the Baton Rogue rapper who is currently incarcerated on drug charges, may be seeing the light of day soon. Journalist Jeff Weiss, who covered Boosie’s trial for Rolling Stone, spoke to the rapper’s attorneys who shared with him information regarding his release and new music. According to Weiss’s tweets, the judge agreed to return Boosie’s hard drive containing some unreleased tracks. He also says attorneys believe he could be released in the next few months. “Just got word that judges have agreed to give back Boosie’s hard drives and computers. It means a whole lot of new Boosie music coming soon.” “No official release date yet for Boosie’s return. But his attorneys say no more than four to five months from today.” (XXL Mag)
