Lil B Copies Jay Z’s Blueprint W/ Career-Changing Announcement

West Coast rapper Lil B might not live out his dream of going against Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant anytime soon but that’s not stopping him from pursuing a career in the sports world.

According to his Twitter page, the Based God has dished out his sports agent dream to the masses and invited interested athletes to join the movement.

“hey DM me if you PLAY SPORTS D1, or going to LEAUGE AND LOOKING FOR A SPORTS AGENT, DM ME YOUR HIGHLIGHT TAPES AND INFO!! – Lil B,” B tweeted December 8.

“to all the sports players that hit Lil B up!! i will check out your highlight tapes ! stay positive you will make it! love you – Lil B” (Lil B’s Twitter)

Over the past year, Lil B has made headlines for trying to make it in the NBA.

And if rappers are out there doing something, you know damn well that Lil B is doing it. The Based God has made a name for himself doing all sorts of things — parking his car, trying out for the Golden State Warriors’ D-League affiliate, comparing himself to Ellen DeGeneres — and with his NBA dreams apparently dead, sports agency could be next. A) If you play sports D1, you should not get an agent. It will make you ineligible. In fact, even talking to a sports agent could make you ineligible, and apparently, Lil B is a sports agent. B) Leauge. He wasn’t joking! (Sports Nation)

Earlier this fall, Bad Boy Records Diddy reacted to Jay Z launching his Roc Nation Sports and revealed if he would consider a similar move.

“No, no, no,” Diddy said when asked if Roc Nation Sports makes him want to launch his own athletics management agency. “I love sports but I’m more of an owner type of a guy. So I have aspirations to become [an owner], which it ‘will’ happen. I will become the first NFL, first African American, majority owner. Not having a small stake but actually owning an NFL team. But then when I see my friend having a sports agency, I support him. When I get the calls like, ‘We need to do Bad Boy Sports,’ I’m like, ‘No. That’s not my lane.’ I stay in my lane. This is what I want to do. I’m just me. I do my own thing.” (Bloomberg TV)

Prior to revealing his sports agent dream, the Based God recently questioned why Kevin Durant had opted out of a basketball challenge.

“BEEN PRACTIING ON THE COURT WAITING FOR @KDTrey5 WAITING FOR THAT 1 ON 1 GAME, I NO THEY NOT BOUT THAT PLAY KEVIN NOT BOUT THAT PLAY – Lil B,” Lil B tweeted November 26.

“if u aint about that play never call that call @kdtrey5 IM BASKETBALL LIFE FOREAL KEVIN REMBER THAT IM GOING TO THE HOLE FOWARD – Lil B” (Lil B’s Twitter)
