Lil B Confirms Major Young Money Collaboration, “I Can’t Speak On It Too Much Right Now”

West Coast rapper Lil B has come forward to address recent tweets he posted suggesting a Drake collaboration may be in the works, admitting fans can expect something from them in the near future.

While mum on the details, Based God did promise they would be hitting the studio together.

I called Lil B to confirm his involvement with the Toronto crooner/rapper and caught him on the phone at the airport, on his way back to the U.S. from a short European tour. I asked him if he was indeed working with Drake, and he said, “Yeah, we’re about to do something real big. I can’t speak on it too much right now, but Drake is the only artist [Lil B] wants to work with. We’ve talked about doing some production.” Lil B added, “[Drake] wants to do something and we’re gonna make it happen. Something real big, so just look out for it.” (FUSE TV)

Last week, Lil B sent a tweet hinting at a possible Drizzy collabo.

“I want to work with “THE BASEDGOD” again he is the only one i herd rumors “THE BASED GOD” will be working with drake – Lil B,” B tweeted May 10th. (Lil B’s Twitter)

Recently, the California rapper gave a publicized lecture at New York University.

Lil’ B took the stage rocking a snug, neon green tee and matching scarf (’cause, you know, B’s a “pretty b*tch”), a tight pair of jeans that still managed to hang low enough to show his red boxers, and what seem to be his trademark pair of oh-so-f*cked-up green Vans and addressed the Kimmel Center’s sold-out house on a number of topics including the decline of humanity, paying taxes, hydraulic fracturing or “fracking” (“I’m like whodie, get that oil out the ocean!”) and other heavy issues. Conversely, the rapper also discussed the ants in his home, an upcoming rock album, his pet ownership and other convoluted-yet-familiar acts of Based Godliness. (Soul Culture UK)

As of late, the rapper has received co-signs courtesy of entertainers like former video vixen Amber Rose.

“@LILBTHEBASEDGOD Wiz & I Love ur Videos & Music u be havin us cracking up Lol U just don’t give a f*ck I’m a fan #Inspiring :-),” she tweeted February 8th.

“.@LILBTHEBASEDGOD Pls stay positive don’t ever change! Let me or Wiz know when u have a show in LA we wld Love 2 come & support ur movement” (Amber Rose’s Twitter)
