Obviously Statik’s a busy guy running around the country, running around the world doing festivals and I’m doing what I’m doing, so sometimes we had to rock out with sending music to each other.
I’m not totally against that. Sometimes it gives you an opportunity to really sit with something and absorb a beat for two hours before you go in.
It’s just me in my studio with nobody else in there with me. I’m not mad at that process. I do like when we’re able to jam together.
I just like to rap so there’s no process I don’t like. I just like to get to it.
