Admitting she is a fan of actor Will Smith‘s singing daughter Willow, Kimora also revealed her admiration toward Young Money, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame.

“We love the Smiths, I think Willow is so cute and my girls love her music,” Kimora told SOHH referring to Will Smith’s daughter. “I wish them the best…I’m a hip-hop girl at heart, and a lot of people are sometimes shocked to see that. All day long I’m tweeting a lyric or something and there’s always some people out there that know what I’m talking about. I’m into hip-hop but I’m also into classic music. I like rock n roll, I kind of like everything…I love Lil Wayne. I think it’s so great what they’re doing, the whole Young Money, Cash Money thing. Who else do I like, hhmmm. I like Gucci [Mane], can you believe that? I like Waka Flocka [Flame], [laughs]. I always listen to [‘No Hands’]. I always tell people, ‘I’m a bad motherf*cker, go and ask some motherf*ckers. [laughs] I have a little bit of everything [in my iPod].” (SOHH)

Recently featured in SOHH’s Top 5 Dead or Alive, Simmons named Weezy as one of her all time favorites.

“I like Lil Wayne and I’m going to choose him because he’s not on the [Hall of Fame] list. I like Lil Wayne a lot because I’ve watched him grow up as a rapper. He was really young and I think it’s really incredible how he grew up [in the rap game]. He’s always willing to try new things whether it’s rock n’ roll, or ctric guitar, or whatever he’s doing. I love the way he mixes [different] elements. I love his flow and how he sounds on certain beats.” (SOHH Top 5 Dead or Alive)

Kimora recently named rap veteran Queen Latifah SOHH Underrated.

“The most underrated hip-hop artist in my opinion would be Queen Latifah. I feel like she’s done so much to blaze a trail [for women] and everybody gives her her props for that, but I don’t know if we really embrace [her music]. We used to love her and she’s an amazing artist. I love her and she’s also a friend of mine. She’s like one of my kids’ aunties. She’s an all-around amazing talent and she’s had an amazing career when you look closely. But in terms of hip-hop music and what Latifah has done as an artist, I’m not so sure if I hear Latifah playing as much as I probably play it at home. One of my favorite Latifah records is “Ladies First”. And along with Latifah, I love MC Lyte, she’s great as well.” (SOHH Underrated)

Simmons is currently focused on her “Life in the Fab Lane” television reality series.

“I think it’s an exciting season and I’m no longer with [clothing brand] Baby Phat,” Kimora told SOHH while discussing her latest season. “I think most of the people know that but just for the few stragglers that aren’t quite sure, I’m no longer with Baby Phat. So I think in this season, you’ll see a lot about me rebuilding and rebranding and repositioning myself. I feel like I’m at a great place and time to be able to offer fashion to my community that I’ve serviced that’s kind of grown up with me. So I feel [this season] is great for that.” (SOHH)
