Reality star Kim Kardashian showed off her oral skills in Las Vegas over the weekend by debuting her rumored first official single as a musician.

Appearing in Las Vegas on Friday (December 31), Kim premiered her singing skills in front of a live audience.

Kim Kardashian kicked off 2011 by launching her first foray into music. The reality star gave clubgoers at TAO Las Vegas a taste of her debut single penned by The-Dream, reportedly titled “Turn It Up.” “Hi you guys, I didn’t mean to, but I did this song with The-Dream, and it’s really fun. I hope you guys like it!” the socialite told the crowd. (Rap-Up)

The actress-turned-singer appeared in Vegas to celebrate New Year’s Eve.

Kim Kardashian headed out of Hollywood to ring in the New Year in style at Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday and surprised fans with a special debut. “I did my 30th birthday here a couple months ago. I am happy to be back! Later tonight I have a surprise for you!” Kim gushed to fans at the hotspot before the ball dropped, “”Happy New Year! Let’s party Vegas!” (OK Magazine)

Kardashian reportedly began shooting a music video featuring Kanye West earlier this week.

Kanye West teamed up with Kim Kardashian and Hype Williams for a music video shoot in L.A. yesterday (December 28) — but it wasn’t for his own album … it was all for Kim’s upcoming single. Sources connected to the video tell us … Hype — the most famous music video director on the planet — spent hours working with Kim and Kanye during a secret closed set shoot. As we previously reported, Kim is working on an entire studio album with super-producer The Dream — but it’s unclear when the world will finally get a chance to hear KK’s voice. (TMZ)

R&B singer Ciara recently opened up about lending support for Kardashian’s music career dream.

“I told her if she needs me, I’m here,” Ciara said in an interview. “She really, really is fascinated with the music-video process and stuff like that. She’s a very, very glamorous girl. She really loves that whole idea, and so she joked about [it] like, ‘I wanna shoot a music video … but I don’t want people to take it too serious. I would just like to have fun with it.'” (MTV)
