Despite being arrested and making headlines for punching a fan over the past year, Cudi said he feels a sense of confidence and has a better take on life.

The Cleveland rapper, who’s set to release his sophomore album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager later this year, says he’s in better spirits this time around. While the past year has been full of hurdles for Cudder, he says he’s rolling with the punches. “I really just find that life is f*cking funny. You have to take sh*t as it comes and man up. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger–that’s a fact. Even in death no one will stop me from being great.” (VIBE)

Scheduled to come out November 9th, Cudi’s album tracklisting hit the Internet last week.

1. Scott Mescudi VS the World feat. Cee-LO 2. REVOFEV 3. Don’t Play This Song feat. Mary J. Blige 4. We Aite (Wake Your Mind Up) 5. Marijuana 6. Mojo So Dope 7. Ashin’ Kusher 8. Erase Me feat. Kanye West 9. Wild’n Cuz Im Young 10. The Mood 11. MANIAC feat. Cage & St. Vincent 12. Mr. Rager 13. These Worries feat. Mary J. Blige 14. The End feat. GLC, Chip Tha Ripper & Nicole Wray 15. All Along 16. GHOST! 17. Trapped In My Mind (Man on the Moon 2)

Last month, Cudi talked about wanting to better his public etiquette.

“That’s what makes it hard for people like myself, [celebrities,] to go out and do sh*t…I can’t take a bite of my burger without having people take a picture of it. It’s like I’m a caged animal…I don’t trust how I react to people…I just want to do the right thing and react [properly] in certain situations. I just wish someone could teach me how to act. In certain situations, I just don’t know. That’s the scary part. If some sh*t happens, I feel like I might get myself in trouble. I just don’t want to get in more trouble.” (XXL Mag)

Recently, the rapper admitted to previously having a drug problem.

“I started doing cocaine to get through interviews, ’cause people wanted to know a lot about my personal life and I wasn’t prepared for a 60 Minutes interview every time. Doing bumps I was able to get through the day, but then I would smoke weed to calm me down–it was the only way I could get through the day without people noticing I was doing it… never thought it was a problem, but I was definitely high-fiving death a couple of times. It took a lot for me to talk about sh*t like this on the album. I don’t feel like I need to explain myself to anyone besides the fans. My fans don’t believe sh*t until they hear me say it. And those are true Kid Cudi fans. I want them to know the story.” (Complex)
