Footage of G.O.O.D. Music artist Kid Cudi highly intoxicated has landed online and shows the rapper passed out in Los Angeles, California.
Based on nearly 50 seconds of video footage, Cudi is shown being helped by a body guard.
yikes! That’s what you call slizzard! Kid Cudi got into the Halloween spirit spirits over the weekend, and stopped for a contemplative moment on the asphalt by the Roosevelt Hotel valet in Hollywood. The best part is Cudi’s tribute to 2LiveCrew at the end, and bodyguard Randy’s less-than-amused facial expression. But…for the record, Cudi has a lot to celebrate. According to label execs, his Man On the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager album (which I really like so far) is outselling Kanye West‘s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album on pre-orders right now. Even though, obviously, Ye’s first week will outpace the pre-orders, that’s still a big achievement for Cudi. (Miss Info TV)
Cudi recently said he has become a better person from his mistakes.
“I’m a lot happier-things are in better order and there’s peace within my crew and within myself,” Cudi says. “I feel I had to go through the fire to get here and I wouldn’t change my experiences for the world. At this point, I’m locked in. I definitely got my sh*t together.” (Billboard)
Last September, Cudi talked about wanting to better his public etiquette.
“That’s what makes it hard for people like myself, [celebrities,] to go out and do sh*t…I can’t take a bite of my burger without having people take a picture of it. It’s like I’m a caged animal…I don’t trust how I react to people…I just want to do the right thing and react [properly] in certain situations. I just wish someone could teach me how to act. In certain situations, I just don’t know. That’s the scary part. If some sh*t happens, I feel like I might get myself in trouble. I just don’t want to get in more trouble.” (XXL Mag)
Recently, the rapper admitted to previously having a drug problem.
“I started doing cocaine to get through interviews, ’cause people wanted to know a lot about my personal life and I wasn’t prepared for a 60 Minutes interview every time. Doing bumps I was able to get through the day, but then I would smoke weed to calm me down–it was the only way I could get through the day without people noticing I was doing it… never thought it was a problem, but I was definitely high-fiving death a couple of times. It took a lot for me to talk about sh*t like this on the album. I don’t feel like I need to explain myself to anyone besides the fans. My fans don’t believe sh*t until they hear me say it. And those are true Kid Cudi fans. I want them to know the story.” (Complex)
