Southern rapper Khia has weighed in on Nicki Minaj and said that her "Barbie" image may be a front and not her actual personality.

Speaking with radio personality EI8HT, Khia also explained why she poked fun at Trina‘s recently leaked nude photos.

“I didn’t really speak on it, I gagged of course and me and my fans and I have a good relationship with my fans,” Khia said referring to commenting on Trina’s leaked photos. “I’m a creative writer, I’m an entertainer, just like the rest of the blog sites — I do no more than Media Take Out, Bossip — I always make it humorous…They ain’t got no dirt on me, the saggy t*ts jokes are dead, y’all ain’t got no dirt on me…I don’t know what Nicki is, if Lil Wayne likes her, I like her. I mean, she’s an actor, she majored in drama, right? I think she’s just an actor, I guess. She’s acting, like, she’s always in character. I don’t know if it’s really her. Everybody knows it’s me, it’s Khia. I don’t know if she’s Nick, I don’t know if she’s a Barbie. I tell everybody, we don’t have Barbies in the hood. Boos, there wasn’t no Barbies sitting on the stoop, love who you are. Hip-Hop is supposed to be real, hip-hop is supposed to be where the real people hang and I think it’s a lot of infiltrators coming in…” (“Street Disciplez Radio”)

Earlier this year, Minaj talked about her “Barbie” movement and bipolar personality.

“Anybody that knows me knows that I have a very, very bipolar personality, so one minute I’m excited and the next minute I’m crying and the next minute I’m cussing and yelling and the next minute I’m singing Enya,” Nicki told FADER writer Julianne Escobedo Shepherd. “I’m not kidding. And the point is, my rap style now reflects my true personality. Because I am so weird…I wish I could fricking remember the first boob that I signed. I don’t know why I did it, but now I can’t go anywhere and not do it. People come up to me wherever I am, girls, sexy girls, like, ‘Can you sign my boob?’ I mean, n*ggas in the club look at me like I’m a pimp. They like, Whaaat? Cause they be fly chicks. I don’t know, but I do know it’s a great thing.” (The FADER)

Female rapper Rah Digga recently shared her impression of Minaj’s impact in the rap game.

“I think she’s just one facet of it,” Digga said about Nicki taking hip-hop to the next level. “It’s unfortunate that with the females, it only gets to be one at a time. This year, it’s Nicki Minaj. At one point it was Remy [Ma]. At one point, it was [Lil] Kim. To me, everybody just takes turns. I don’t look at one person and say this is it for hip-hop. I think everybody brings all kind of different things to hip-hop. As soon as I come, everybody’s like ‘this is the real hip-hop!’ Whoever is poppin’ is where it’s poppin’. [Laughs] I think it’s important for females to do as much together as we can. We always say we wanna do stuff. And we might do some songs here and there. But we’re not really coming together. And it doesn’t help that soon as one of us puts a song out the public turns it into a diss song towards the next chick. I think there are all sorts of lanes for everybody. As long as chicks continue to do their thing and stand their ground, they’ll be alright. With me, it just about rhyming.” (All Hip Hop)

In early March, Khia clowned Trina’s leaked photos via Twitter.

“If More Of U Delayed H*es Was Tittie Feed U Would Have Mo Since Instead Of Being A Yuck Mouf Like Hurrican K Trina lol F*ck Them H*es BAD D*CK IS THE BLAME..I TOLD YALL ON THE HIT EM UP DISS THAT SHE WAS CORROTED ONE DAY YALL GONE LISTEN 2 THE QUEEN..TEAM KHIA LETS TAKE OVER WE HAVE WORK 2DO,” she wrote today. “ANGERMANAGEMENT PEOPLE..YALL MAD WE GAGGING..I DONT F*CK WIT FAKES H*ES SHE CALLED I SAID H*LL NAW TRINA CALLED I SAID TRIPPLE H*LL NAW NO LETS KEEP IT 100 LOL..What In The World Is @darealkhiaTalking About Lol Dumb B*tch Go On Hurricane K-trinas Page Y R U Here??? If you know your history then you will remember when Willy came out with a diss track going at Game reppin gunit and game ran and tucked his tale and that diss got luda attention and luda snatched him up and he is still in the DTP graveyard. I just talked to willy about this a few months back
