Southern rapper Kevin Gates has come forward to defend wiping away radio personality DJ Traci Steele‘s warm arm gesture during a recent video interview.
Gates released a visual message Tuesday (June 21) cited his marriage for fueling the decision.
“Look, my dog asked me the other day, ‘How come when that girl touched you, you wiped your shoulders off like this?’ I say, ‘First of all, I’m married. Second of all I’m holy. Don’t put your dirty a** hands on me.’ Whatchu doing?”
Throughout the past few days Gates’ incident has gone viral.
Last night (June 20), Traci appeared to address the interview’s aftermath.
