Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar is going to stay busy over the next few months by announcing plans to tour Australia in 2016.

According to reports, K. Dot will travel to Australia for Bluesfest in March.

The Compton-bred MC will bring the noise to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Allphones Arena in late March before making his way to Byron Bay for a performance at the 27th annual Bluesfest. That makes Kendrick another international drawcard for the five-day event, putting him on the bill with The National, City and Colour, The Cat Empire, as well as Noel Gallagher, Tom Jones and The Decemberists. TDE’s Jay Rock has teamed up with Kendrick for his upcoming First Annual Kunta’s Groove Sessions tour this month.

On October 20, Lamar and the NSO will perform cuts from his album To Pimp a Butterfly; it’ll be the rapper’s first orchestral collaboration, as the Washington Post reports. (Pitchfork)
