Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar might want to consider becoming an official Toyota brand ambassador. The car company has responded to buzz K. Dot generated after buying his sister a Toyota Camry as a graduation present.
According to reports, Team Toyota thinks K. Dot made the smart – not cheap – decision.
A rep told us Toyota sees the choice as more “smart and thoughtful” than cheap, since Camry has a good track record for longevity and reliability. Plus, they’re made in the U.S. — so props for buying American! Sorta. (TMZ)
A few days ago, Kendrick’s sister Kayla Duckworth showed off her decked-out Toyota.
Duckworth is known for showing Lamar plenty of social media support.
Recently, Migos’ Takeoff named Kendrick one of the greatest rappers out right now.
“I would give it to 3K. Andre,” Offset said before Takeoff responded with “Kendrick Lamar.” Quavo then added “My man Jay Z is the greatest rapper right now. Straight up. You can’t mess with Jay when it’s time to come and play.” (NME)
