Katt Williams Uses Pool Cue As Weapon, Arrested After Bar Explosion...

Less than 24 hours after footage of comedian Katt Williams attacking a Target employee surfaced, the troubled actor has been arrested on assault and harassment charges in Seattle.

According to reports, Williams got busted Sunday (December 2) afternoon following a bar incident.

Officers were called to the World Sports Grille near 9th Avenue North and Westlake Avenue around 2:30 p.m. to investigate a report involving Williams and a bar patron. According to the Seattle Police Department, Williams, who was in town to perform a show at the Parmount Theater, exchanged words with patrons at the bar and brandished a pool cue at the bar manager. Williams also allegedly flicked a cigarette at a woman in a car. When officers tried to arrest Williams, he allegedly struggled and refused. He was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault, harassment and obstruction. (Q13 Fox Seattle)

Police spokesman Jonah Spagenthal-Lee has released a statement on what went down.

“During the incident Williams exchanged words with patrons in the bar, brandished a pool cue at a bar manager and refused to leave the business,” Spagenthal-Lee said. “At one point during the altercation, Williams followed a family outside of the bar where, as the family got into their car, Williams flicked a cigarette through a car window at a woman, striking her just below her eye. Williams also threw a rock at the family’s car.” (Seattle Pi)

Prior to these reports, footage fo Katt attacking a Sacramento, California Target employee emerged.

He also ran into some problems with Oakland police a few weeks ago.

Comedian Katt Williams, in town for a Friday appearance at the Oracle Arena, was being questioned by police in connection with an assault in downtown Oakland, according to police. Another man was hit in the head with a bottle during the scuffle and taken to a hospital after the incident, which happened about 8 p.m. near the Courtyard Marriott in the 900 block of Broadway. Williams, a comedian, actor and rapper, is known for his role as Money Mike in “Friday After Next.” (Marin Independent Journal)
