According to his management team, Williams is still touring the nation with a slew of comedy shows.

Earlier this week, a very emotional Katt announced his retirement on a street corner in Seattle … insisting that he was, “kinda done.” But now, Katt’s management team says he’s undone … telling us, “Katt is definitely NOT retiring. He will be moving forward with the tour … Friday is Texas, Saturday New Orleans, and on to Alabama.” Management adds, “The reason why he made remarks was due to him feeling totally disrespected by all the things that happen to him in the city of Seattle. He had a moment where he felt very unappreciated. He now just wants to move forward from those unfortunate events and give his fans outstanding shows from this point forward.” (TMZ)

Earlier in the week, Williams unofficially announced his retirement in a street interview.

“I’m just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up,” Williams said in an interview. “I’m kinda done. This is, yeah, I’ve already discussed it with my kids. I wasn’t really gonna do it on a Seattle street, I was gonna go to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or Live Nation.” (KOMO)

He ran into some legal problems last weekend in Seattle, Washington.

Something not so funny is going on with Katt Williams. The actor and stand-up comedian was arrested Sunday after allegedly getting into a bar fight with a family at the World Sports Grille in Seattle. When police arrived on the scene, Williams resisted arrest. The “First Sunday” actor was taken into custody at the King County jail shortly afterward on counts of harassment, assault and obstructing police, though he was released early Monday morning. Reports claim the incident went down Sunday afternoon at a local bar.

Officers were called to the World Sports Grille near 9th Avenue North and Westlake Avenue around 2:30 p.m. to investigate a report involving Williams and a bar patron. According to the Seattle Police Department, Williams, who was in town to perform a show at the Parmount Theater, exchanged words with patrons at the bar and brandished a pool cue at the bar manager. Williams also allegedly flicked a cigarette at a woman in a car. When officers tried to arrest Williams, he allegedly struggled and refused. He was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault, harassment and obstruction. (Q13 Fox Seattle)
