Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has shared his thoughts on father-in-law Bruce Jenner making a publicized transformation into Caitlyn this year.

Although brief with his words, West revealed his support for Jenner.

“The first thing I thought about was a black radio show host maybe possibly making jokes because the black culture is generally homophobic. Then it was like, ‘F*ck what people say. F*c what people think.’ I feel proud to be in a family that has so many people breaking ground for generations to come. I’m still getting acquainted to what’s politically correct.” (“SHOWstudio”)

West also dished on the problems he has dealt with in the fashion industry.

“I feel like I got discriminated in fashion for not being gay. In music, you definitely get discriminated in music if you are gay. It takes amazing talents to break down barriers. Everyone thought that when Frank Ocean dropped that it was going to be bad for his career. I feel like it’s so cliché to speak about him as it relates to this subject, but there are people who broke the ground and he broke the ground. The people that break the stereotypes make history.” (“SHOWstudio”)

Asked about premiering his song “Fade” at the Yeezy Season 2 fashion show last month, Kanye recently discussed his highly-anticipated SWISH album.

“We had a couple options and I just thought it sounded good against the people. For the 40 theaters across the globe, for the kids that all went to see it in theaters, I thought they’d be happy to hear some new music. I’ve been doing that [making a new album] too. That’s like a sonic landscape, a two-year painting. That song I played has been a year and a half in the making and it may be still a year from being complete. But it was to let people get a glimpse at the painting,” Kanye explained. “It’s ‘currently’ called Swish. I’m forgetting even what the last name of it was now.” (Vanity Fair)

In August, producer Mike Dean acknowledged Kanye would solely determine when his upcoming SWISH album was ready for the masses.

“Nothing, really, it’s in progress,” Dean revealed when asked what he knew about Ye’s new album. “[Will it come out in 2015?] I have no idea. It just depends. Whenever Kanye says it’s done, it’s done.” (Montreality)

  1. from Jesus walks to co-signing a transgender man who says he is not gay. i wouldnt sweat being discriminated against for being straight. Kanye must be bisexual, at least a little. since his mother passed, rest her blessed soul, he has been in outer space. he married SuperThot (feel free to use that), makes all these videos with satanic imagery under the guise of “creativity’, and then SuperThot is tweeting ass naked pics. these are the actions of a lost muh fucka. people out here in real life dont give one flake of rat shit about how he feels about his “troubles”. the only reason why he is still relevant is because media gotta get paid. dude is weird ass fuck. i have watched a promising, young Christian man de-evolve into a satanist who will do and say anything for $. look at all these “celebrities” endorsing him for president. WHO IN THEEEEEE FUCK, would vote for kanye? what are the qualifications? SuperThot might be the first lady, but kanye is like, the 60th nigga.
