Kanye West’s Now-Infamous Street Sign Gets Makeover

Weeks after Kanye West ignited the Internet with endless memes and viral jokes following caught-on-camera footage of him walking into a street sign, property owners have now taken action.

According to reports and photos, the sign is now elevated to avoid any future run-in issues.

That stupid, red parking sign that bashed Kanye West in the face last month will NEVER HURT ANYONE AGAIN … ’cause it’s just been raised WAAYYY above head-bashing range, TMZ has learned. The sign (sporting a 1-0 record in street fights) … famously K.O.’d Mr. West back in May when the rapper was trying to walk to a nearby restaurant while shielding his face from the paparazzi. Kanye went BALLISTIC after the sign attack … and unleashed a legendary screaming, running, angry tirade at the photogs. (TMZ)

The “Wrong Way” sign now rests a few feet higher and away from where Yeezy ran into it at.

Now, we’ve learned the people who own the property have decided to take action — raising the sign by several feet … so it towers over any regular-sized person. Of course, it’s possible the sign-owners made the move to prevent a future lawsuit … but as for Kanye, we’re told he hasn’t made any sort of legal threat since the incident. Bottom line — the streets of Bev Hills are now safe for walkers … unless you’re a giant. (TMZ)

Memorable footage of Yeezy walking into the street sign surfaced across the Internet last month.

Kim Kardashian‘s maternal instincts are already kicking in! The seven-months-pregnant reality star, 32, was house-hunting with beau Kanye West in Bel-Air, Calif. on Friday, May 10, when the rapper suddenly walked straight into a street pole. Dressing her growing baby bump in a black lace cardigan paired with a side braid and chandelier earrings, the expectant mother immediately showed her nurturing side — going to the rapper’s side and kissing his forehead while he seemed to wince from the klutzy mishap. Immediately following the accident, the Chicago native went off on nearby photographers.

An angry West clasped his hand to his head and bent over in pain. “You OK Kanye?” photographers can be heard asking, in footage of the incident. West briefly shouts at a photog to “stop taking f—ing pictures, man,” before it appeared that he calmed down and walked away. But this being Kanye West, after all, video recently surfaced showing the hothead stayed true to form and did launch into an expletive-filled tirade against another photographer, who meekly protested, “I just got here.” That photographer even tries to offer an olive branch, saying, “If you want me to leave, I’ll leave, Kanye.” (NY Post)
