Writing via Twitter, West said his weekly new record distribution could still take place sometime this evening.

“For the real hip hop fans… even though I had to shift all my energy to mixing my album do to leaks….,” West tweeted Friday afternoon.

Earlier this week, West said he was going to call off this week’s G.O.O.D. Friday release.

“Due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my actual album I’ve decided to pass of Good Fridays this week,” West tweeted Wednesday (September 29) night.

“It’s messed up that one hacker can mess everything up for everyone… I love to take a year to finish my songs and deliver them …”

The decision was prompted due to the unauthorized online leak of his new song, “Lost in the World.”

A third track from Kanye West’s forthcoming album, tentatively due November 22, leaked online Wednesday morning (September 29). The haunting “Lost in the World” samples Bon Iver‘s “Woods” and includes lyrics the rapper recited during a visit to Rolling Stone magazine that was posted on YouTube. “Lost in the World” follows “Power” and “Runaway.” The latter was also recited by West at the RS offices and premiered during the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Like the previous two tracks, “Lost in the World” features weightier lyrics from ‘Ye than the material he’s been releasing weekly as part of the G.O.O.D. Fridays series on his blog. (MTV)

West previously spoke of “Lost In The World” with high regard.

“I called [Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon] and we ended up becoming like really good friends, playing basketball together everyday, and going into the back studio to record his parts,” West said. “He’s similar to me, like where he just does sh*t just so people would be like, ‘Oh sh*t, how did you do that? How did that happen?’ He’s just a really cool guy to be around.” In an August webchat, Kanye mentioned that “Lost in the World” was the frontrunner to become his new album’s second single (after “Power”) and that it would arrive in about “20 days.” West, however, opted for “Runaway” as his second single.
