Kanye West Relies On OVO For Final ‘Yeezus’ Stop, Drake Collabo On Deck? [Video]

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has the Internet chattering after reportedly clocking in some studio time alongside Young Money's Drake following a final Yeezus tour performance.

Less than 24 hours after hooking up in Toronto, Kanye once again relied on the hometown hero to help close out his nationwide run Monday (December 23) evening.

Drizzy joined Yeezy to perform “Forever” as well as Big Sean‘s verse on “All Me” while standing alongside his idol. Kanye also proclaimed Drake’s Nothing Was the Same single “Hold On, We’re Going Home” as the song of the year. “So Grammys you’re telling me ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ isn’t the song of the year?” ‘Ye told the crowd. The two reportedly hit the studio together after the show. Drake’s white Rolls-Royce with the license plate “C Papi” was spotted outside a recording studio. Could a collaboration be next? (Rap-Up)

On Sunday night, Kanye’s Yeezus Tour touched down at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre and Drake came out to show some love since the G.O.O.D. Music CEO did the same for him just a few months earlier. Drizzy Instgrammed a photo of ‘Ye and his elaborate set with the caption, “Guess the money shoulda changed him,” but he probably didn’t expect to get a personal shout-out before the show wrapped. “I want to thank the rap god Drake for coming out tonight,” Kanye said to the audience later in the night, his face plastered with a big smile. After the show, the two rappers spent some time hanging together at the after-party, where Kanye, clearly in a good mood, even hung from the rafters as the crowd sang along to his music. (MTV)

“He’s, like, the best. What an era to be a part of. I wouldn’t want my competition to be anybody else. My competition is nobody else, by the way. It’s just me and ‘Ye. I still have work to do but that’s what it is right now.” (VIBE)

Recently, Kanye dished on Drizzy Drake being atop the hip-hop game.

On His Empire: “It’s Drake season now. I’m the Tupac of product. You’re gonna see I’m better than Ralph Lauren, you’re gonna see that I’m gonna be bigger than H&M, bigger than Louis Vuitton.” And given that he just told fans to boycott the famous French fashion house…he may live up to his word.
