According to Bieber’s manager, West has reached out and wants to hop on a few of Bieber’s tracks.

Along with having a taste for the finer things in life, Kanye West apparently has contracted Bieber Fever. While the illness initially presented itself as a remix back in August, Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun confirmed during a recent audiochat that the Louis Vuitton Don now wants to produce and collaborate on even more tracks with the wunderkind from Toronto. Braun did not share many specifics, but said that “[Bieber] and Kanye had a call… about a song they’re trying to work on together. Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for his new album.” (Consequence of Sound)

Last summer, West remixed Beiber’s “Runaway Love” single, recruiting Raekwon to contribute a verse.

“Finishing @JustinBieber Runaway Love remix too… don’t know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon’s verse is crazy!!!,” Ye tweeted.

“I gotta testify… God has worked his magic 10 fold in my life since I dropped the ego and opened my heart.” (Kanye West’s Twitter)

G-Unit’s Lloyd Banks recently said he would hop on a track with Bieber.

“I would definitely do a record with Justin Bieber. I think early on in my career things were a little different. Now, the fact of the matter is the youth determine which way music is going to go,” explains Banks. “When you become influential enough to control one market, I think it’s time to cross-market.” (VIBE)

After Bieber released his “Speaking In Tungs” freestyle last fall under the rap alias “Shawty Mane”, Dipset affiliate Vado gave the singer his co-sign.

“I was shocked! He killed it! He sounded like [Notorious] B.I.G.,” Vado said in an interview. “When I seen it on Twitter, I didn’t believe it. We need to keep his verse for the remix! We might finish the remix this weekend, and let Justin go first. I’m definitely going to contact him.” (New York Daily News)

Justin Bieber’s My World 2.0 debut album has sold over 2 million copies since its release last year.
