Kanye West Raises Eyebrows, Expectations W/ Newest G.O.O.D. Music Signing

Rap star Kanye West has extended his G.O.O.D. Music roster with the addition of model Kacy Hill.

Kanye’s parent label Def Jam broke the big news this week on social media.

Hill hinted at the unexpected signing early Wednesday (December 17).

The model-turned-singer is expected to release her first studio release next year.

The 20-year-old L.A. musician, who is described as having an “airy vocal style that’ll leave you dizzy,” is working on her album for 2015 and directed the video for “Experience.” In an interview with Dazed & Confused, she said she wants to make “music that feels good and creates movement in redefining pop and its interaction with fashion.” (Rap-Up)

According to reports, Hill previously worked with Kanye as a backup dancer.

She’s a model-turned-singer, who released her debut single and video, “Experience,” in September. Before that, she earned a spot as a back up dancer on the Yeezus Tour. (MTV)
