Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West reportedly had less-than-friendly words to say about famed photographer Annie Leibovitz over a wedding day photo from his publicized ceremony last month. #Snapped
According to reports, Yeezy aired out Leibovitz during an overseas conference.
Annie was supposed to shoot the pic but she pulled out entirely the day before the wedding. Kanye says she claimed she was “afraid of celebrity” — a weird statement because Annie’s brand is all about celebrity. Nonetheless … the pic was taken but not perfected, and Kanye says he and Kim spent 4 days — yes, 4 DAYS — screwing with the pic because the flowers were “off color.” (TMZ)
Additional reports claim Kanye said his wife Kim Kardashian underwent stress over the photo editing.
Kanye explained, “Let me tell you something about that kiss photo that my girl put up … this was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon, she was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much because Annie Leibovitz pulled out right before the wedding. I think that she was, like, scared of the idea of celebrity.” (Page Six)
Despite the backlash, KimYe’s wedding photo made history on Instagram.
Kardashian recently wed rapper Kanye West in a private ceremony. Kardashian posted a photo May 27 of the newlyweds kissing and since then, the photo has more than 1.99 million likes. The photo has also generated more than 37,100 comments. The kiss photo broke the old record, set by singer Justin Bieber, posted 5 months ago, where he is being hugged by singer Selena Gomez.
