Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West can sleep a little easier at night. Yeezus has reportedly settled a publicized $2.5 million case centered on 2013’s “New Slaves” hit record.

According to reports, Team Ye avoided a lengthy trial and settled his copyright infringement feud out of court.

Kanye West has settled charges that his 2013 hit single “New Slaves” ripped off the work of a Hungarian rock star, The Post has learned. The hip-hop impresario reached an out-of-court deal with Hungarian artist Gabor Presser on Monday, court documents show — just two days before West was slated to be deposed in the case. (Page Six)

Plaintiff Gabor Presser had initially sought out $2.5 million in compensation for Ye jacking parts of his 1960’s “Gyöngyhajú Lány” (“The Girl with Pearly Hair”).

Indeed, West’s song samples a full 85 seconds of Presser’s song — in what amounts to more than one-third of the single. By the time the suit was filed last spring, the Yeezus album — propelled by “New Slaves” as its breakout hit, according to Presser — went platinum with sales in excess of 500,000 units. West’s 40-concert tour to support it generated $35 million in ticket sales between October 2013 and September 2014. (Page Six)

Recently, British extreme metal band Cradle of Filth threw serious shade at Ye.

Recently the group posted a picture of Yeezy wearing a Cradle of Filth shirt, seemingly indicating that he’s a fan. Cradle of Filth made a fairly emphatic point that the feeling wasn’t mutual when they captioned the photo, “Kanye West. Cradle Of Filth fan. Fortunately not a collaborator.” (XXL Mag)

Last week, the hip-hop superstar’s cousin lost his one-year-old baby.

The cousin, Ricky Anderson, works at Kanye’s label, GOOD Music, in L.A. We’re told the child, Avery, died in his sleep. There was no previous sign of illness or distress. Avery had just celebrated his 1st birthday. (TMZ)
