Yeezy pledged his commitment via his Twitter page Sunday (August 22) morning.

“I know yall need the music so I’m dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song it may be a new Jay song etc…,” he tweeted.

“I’m calling it good Fridays. Yall know every Friday yall gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now.”

“It’s about the fans. No more holding back. That’s why I dropped see me now… It wasn’t about me it was about the Summer the BBQs etc…”

“It’s a good Sunday… God is working his magic. Let him guide every step. Stay blessed, happy and enjoy this Summer day. Back to work 4 me.” (Kanye West’s Twitter)

Last week, Ye dropped his new song “See Me Now” which features singers Beyonce and Charlie Wilson.

Though he’s been working on the track for over two years, West told Hot 97’s Angie Martinez that he literally completed “See Me Now” this morning. In fact, West said that one of the song’s guest contributors, Ms. Beyonce Knowles, finished her vocals at 5 am. Joining Beyonce on the track is R&B singer Charlie Wilson. West, No I.D., and Lex Luger handled production. West did not note whether the song will make its way on his still untitled upcoming album, which is now due for release in November. However, he chose to release it now because “life is too short to be holding on to it.” He also added that it’s “something my mom would be proud off.” (Consequence of Sound)

This past Friday, Ye released his “Power” remix which featured Jay-Z and Swizz Beatz.

Martin Louis the King Jr. powers up with the remix to his first single featuring the almighty Jay-Z, John Legend, and Swizz Beatz, who he called the greatest rap producer of all time. The hip-hop cash kings trade verses about their superstar status and dominance over the bombastic beat. Swizzy samples “The Power” by Snap! on the latter part of the remix and Yeezy reminds us that he has friends in high places. “Jay my big brother and B my little sister, and excuse me, but you can’t see my little sister,” he raps. Earlier this month, Yeezy said he is in a state of “joy” and his upcoming untitled album would reflect his inward journey.

“Everyone says all great art comes from pain but I think my greatest art comes from excitement and joy. It’s a completely different perspective about being extremely excited about stuff that is only cool to me,” West said in a recent Rolling Stone office visit. “Like, when Itweeted, ‘What’s your credenza game?’ I was very excited about that credenza…It was important to not be limited by the art form of rap but to have rap bring it to another level. Is it rap or is it poetry? Is it spoken word? Is it [a] speech?” (MTV)
