During his televised appearance, Mr. West delved into his love for creativity, especially in relation to clothing.

Accompanied by A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou, the rapper-turned-designer discussed collaborating on his second men’s capsule collection with the French brand. “I just love creativity across the board, like architecture, art,” said Kanye. “I think I’m addicted to dreams. Clothing or stage design or an album, it’s all an art project.” The show also aired footage of a very hands-on Kanye working on the autumn/winter collection, which includes denim, fur-lined army jackets, combat pants, and balaclavas. Kanye appeared alongside the fashion company’s founder last week to debut his latest A.P.C. collection in Paris.

Confirmed by A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou back in December, the French label is once again partnering with Kanye West on a new mesnwear collection. On Saturday afternoon, Kanye and Touitou revealed pieces from their collaborative line at a showroom event during Paris Fashion Week. Set to for a late summer-early fall release, the collection includes more heavy outerwear items and shirts. With three models showing off the line, Kanye took his time in explaining the inspiration behind each piece in front of a crowd of influential figures in the fashion industry, journalists, and tastemakers. Last month, Jean hinted at a fresh batch of Kanye-influenced A.P.C. designs possibly hitting retail outlets.

“You have to put your life in danger all the time. If I do a collection with Kanye West, obviously I’m taking risks. When I do a very feminine capsule collection with Vanessa Seward, I took the risk that some people would criticise it and say I’m losing my minimalist foundation,” he says. Apparently both decisions paid off, as Touitou confirms that A.P.C. will collaborate with both Kanye West and Vanessa Seward again. (Business of Fashion)

Over the summer, Jean detailed Kanye’s unique interest in design and explained why their joint venture could not be rushed.

How does Kanye West compare as a collaborator to others you’ve worked with? He is famously particular. Did you have any trepidation about working together? I just love the guy, so whatever. He could want a piece to be baggy and skinny at the same time… [but] oh well, you just find a way. This collection has been in the works for two years. It sounds like with this process, the devil was in the details. What has the back and forth on design been like? The devil was in theoretical discussion, not in details. When you deal with a guy who wants to redesign just about anything so it could fit [into the] kingdom of dopeness, it takes some time to just sit and say, “Okay, agreed, but let’s get start on something limited, and we’ll see.” (Style)
