Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West may be glad his run at the Wireless Festival last weekend is over as new footage shows him bringing up some dicey topics during one of his stage rants. #HereWeGoAgain
More footage of Mr. West letting loose on topics ranging from sex to his rift with paparazzi has emerged.
“Everybody needs a day off. Everybody out here likes sex, right? Sex is great when you and your partner be like ‘Hey this something we both wanna do.’ But if one of the people don’t wanna do that, what is that called? That’s called rape. That’s called violation. … Anytime I tell the truth when I get up here, everybody thinks it’s so crazy, right? And the media paint me as if I’m some sort of villain or like I’ve got a bad bone in my body. I’m really more of a porcupine or a blowfish. And the photos they always take is when that blowfish is blown up or when that porcupine is defending itself from the lies and control and the manipulation that you deal with if you are an artist. Yeezy also admitted the passing of his grandfather last year played a big role on how he reacted to paps.
“So if I walk around and say ‘Look, sir, I’m not feeling so good today. I found out my grandfather’s about to pass, I’m going through some sh*t. Can you please not f*ck with me today?’ There’s no cutoff switch. And that’s why I look so crazy because I feel like I’m gonna take this sh*t into my own hands. Despite widespread negative reports, some outlets claim Kanye impressed more than depressed his loyal following at the annual event.
Must have been someone else! Kanye West’s recent performance at the Wireless Festival in the UK was anything but negative. Despite recent reports that the rapper was booed off stage, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm that the majority of West’s fans were extremely supportive throughout the entire night. People in Kanye’s camp who were present at the show tell Us that the “Bound 2” entertainer gave his all during the show, and received a round of applause after speaking about his adorable 12-month-old daughter North West, whom he shares with wife Kim Kardashian. WIRELESS fans were left unimpressed last night after Kanye West – who was filling in for an unwell Drake – went on a 15-minute rant for the second night in a row. The superstar – who already headlined the event in Finsbury Park, North London, on Friday night – embarked on the speech during his 2010 hit Runaway, where he described himself as “shy” and “arrogant.” After having already received bad press for taking up a large portion of his set with the deep and meaningful monologue the night before, fans seemed unamused and proceeded to demand: “We want Drake.” (Express)
