Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has reportedly helped a clothing company bank at least $40,000 after co-signing a sweatshirt earlier in the week.
According to reports, clothing line D9 Reserve has Mr. West to thank for selling out one of its signature tops.
The always fashion-conscious Yeezus became a Pied Piper of sorts with the pic he snapped of a pap wearing a sweet sweaty. The manufacturer — D9 Reserve — instantly sold out … more than 300 sweatshirts at $135 a pop. That’s a cool $40K. D9 is big in the weed scene, promoting pot in its fashions. As for the sweatshirt, the company does not plan to restock, which will make the 300 instant classics. (TMZ)

D9 Reserve acknowledged the widespread attention and coverage on Instagram Saturday (November 1).
Buzz behind Kanye’s unexpected co-sign surfaced online a few days ago.
He is usually less than pleased with the presence of the paparazzi in his life.
But Kanye West found himself changing his tune as he took time out of his schedule to stop and admire a paparazzo’s eye-catching jumper in New York on Wednesday. The fashion obsessed rapper was so taken by the photographer’s rocket themed sweatshirt that he turned the tables and began to take pictures of the surprised paparazzo on his mobile phone.
