Thrilling Thursday. It’s a thrill ride to get the day started, beginning with Kanye West being ripped off and copied? On a more serious note, the late Michael Jackson‘s daughter allegedly tried to kill herself and fortunately she was unsuccessful. Dipset’s always been known for being one of the toughest hip-hop groups out but are they any match for what’s cooking in Pittsburgh? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. Kanye Quest
Is Kanye West the star of a new video game? That appears to be the case, at least according to a new trailer that’s going around promoting “Kanye Quest.” You would initially think it is a funny promotion for his new album but the more you watch it, things don’t seem to make much sense. XXL Mag has the clip:
Kanye West has become the subject of a new video game—a JRPG, to be exact. Kotaku reports that Mr. West has become the star of a fan-made Japanese role playing game Kanye Quest 3030. The game—whose title is also derived from Del The Funkee Homosapien and Dan The Automator’s Deltron 3030 project—finds the G.O.O.D. Music impresario duking it out with the clone of 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and even Lil B. This isn’t the first fan-made Yeezy video game floating around the Internet. Last year, a fan produced a Flash game called Kanye Zone, in which the player attempts to block Kanye from, “getting into his zone.” (XXL Mag)
Considering today’s technology, is there anyone who would actually purchase this game? Better yet, could there be any legal backlash the creators/makers could get if Kanye was unaware of this even existing? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
2. What’s Going On
In some very bizarre and unforturnate news, it seems Michael Jackson’s daughter tried to commit suicide but failed rather badly. There’s still a lot of unanswered questions, but the latest is that Paris Jackson was rushed to a hospital and did not fully go through with the attempt. TMZ is all over this:
Cops officially classified the Paris Jackson incident as a “suicide attempt,” but they do NOT believe her intent was to kill herself.
Law enforcement sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … based on the information the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. has gathered … “She wanted attention.” One source involved in the case tells us … her call to a suicide hotline is compelling evidence “she wanted to be saved.” The source added, “It makes no sense if you really want to die to call a hotline, where the person on the other end will get an ambulance over to your house.”
TMZ broke the story … Paris used a meat cleaver to cut her arm and took a bunch of Motrin, and our sources say as a result they must classify it as a “suicide attempt.” But, as one source put it, “Who takes Motrin to kill themselves? She called the suicide hotline because she wanted the attention and wanted to make sure EMTs got there in time.”
We’re also told Paris was conscious when EMTs arrived and did not argue or put up a struggle when she was placed on a stretcher.
One source connected with the case tells us, “She’s into the drama.” (TMZ)
Could this all have been staged for some attention? You would think just being the daughter of Michael Jackson was enough, if that’s the case. Whatever the motivation, hopefully she has learned from this and won’t put herself in any more danger. #SOHHWhatchaThink?
Is Dipset banned from Pittsburgh? Do Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller need to settle things down and try to broker a peace calling? It seems like there’s something brewing between Dipset or at least one member from the crew and the city of Pittsburgh. All Hip Hop Rumors has more:
Here is the intel I got. “Yo word on the streets is Pittsburgh ni***z want Hell Rell’s head! Dip Set ain’t allowed there. Them Larmier Ave ni***z aka LA Hoods ran Jim Jones and the Set up out of there a few years ago!
Ni***z was in Ny f**kin wit the music, The Government (rap Group) and I guess they was f*ckin wit Dip Set, word is they gave Rell some money to cop something and Rell went Dip set and never returned the pack.
Then Dip Set then came to the Burgh like it was sweet for a show and damn near got Jimmy and them boyz killed.” (AHH Rumors)
Doesn’t seem like Jim Jones has ever mentioned having a problem out in Pittsburgh but could this be more serious than we think? With such a big music scene in the Pittsburgh area, isn’t it vital Dipset try to smooth things out? #SOHHWhatchaThink?
