Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West may be preparing for his upcoming Yeezus flick but that couldn't keep him from invading the fashion world in France.
According to reports, Mr. West ventured overseas to take part in the annual Paris Fashion Week festivities with frequent collaborator Rihanna over the weekend.
Rapper Kanye West — who smiled and refused to talk — shared the front row Sunday evening with another singer-cum-fashion designer, superstar Rihanna. Kim Kardashian was, however, nowhere to be seen. He skipped the 86th annual Oscars but was West trying to draw media attention away from the Dolby Theatre ceremony at by wearing a massive reflective emergency band on the back of his long black Givenchy jacket? Whatever the reason the look matched the other front row star, Rihanna, who was also in black. (Gulf News)

Held in the cavernous auditorium in the utilitarian 13th arrondissement that the brand has made its home the past few seasons, the house held the show for the two late arrivals. For the crowd, it was worth the wait, as the audience oohed at the first soft printed dresses before bold suits broke up the sweetness. After the show, West declared it “awesome.” The musician, who has been outspoken recently about the fashion world, praised designer Riccardo Tisci. “He’s my good friend. Instead of getting the gossip sites stirred up, West explained his fiancée’s absence.
And why did Kim Kardashian skip the show, even though she was expected to attend? “She’s just hanging out,” West told us. Kim revealed on Twitter that she stayed at the hotel to take care of baby North West. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Kim Kardashian stormed out of the hoity-toity Vienna Ball after some white dude working the event came up to her in black face, pretending to be Kanye West! Kim was paid $500K to be the “date” of Richard Lugner, an Austrian businessman who has a long history of paying starlets half-a-mil to be his arm candy at the Vienna Annual Opera Ball. Lugner just did an interview trashing Kim for not sticking to the program, saying, “Kim is annoying me.” But we’re told she was taking pics with Lugner when a guy who was working the ball came up to her … IN BLACK FACE acting like he was Kanye.
