Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West reportedly did not hand a security guard the pink slip for allegedly flirting with celebrity wife Kim Kardashian West.
According to reports, Yeezy has no personal ill will toward the security hired for them at this week’s Met Gala.
Sources close to the Wests tell TMZ … Steve Stanulis was hired by the guy in charge of their security to help out before the Met Gala. We’re told it was very clear Stanulis would only be used for the day leading up to the event. That’s it, just a temp deal … we’re told. There were reports ‘Ye axed Stanulis for talking to Kim, but we’re told Yeezy never had a confrontation with him, and in fact … everything “went very smoothly”. (TMZ)
Initial reports claimed Yeezy’s jealously ultimately sparked the firing.
Kanye West fired a member of his security team minutes before heading to the Met Gala, according to Confidenti@l sources, who blame the alleged canning on a fit of jealousy. “Something happened at the Waldorf Astoria where Kanye just lost it,” said a source who was on the 36th floor of the hotel Monday afternoon when West allegedly got upset. Kim K and Kanye publicly thanked Vogue magazine for naming them the “Best Dressed” at this week’s Met Gala in New York City.
Last week, Kim addressed a flurry of rumors on her personal application and denied Kanye split gossip.
“I’ve definitely had my fair share of, like, dramatic relationships,” Kim explained in the footage. “Honestly, this is like the most calm (relationship) and it’s like, nope, we’re still together. We’re happy. There’s just nothing to really report on. … My husband might be trying for a third child, but I am not. … If it happened, it happened. But I don’t think we’re trying, so maybe it (gossip) is not true.” (WENN)
