Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has taken to music to unleash his personal thoughts, specifically, denying recent reports claiming he physically abused ex-lovers.
On the new “I Don’t Like” remix, Yeezy sets the record straight once and for all.
The new single, a remix of Chicago rapper Chief Keef‘s hit single “I Don’t Like,” was released Tuesday night with features from Pusha T, Big Sean and Jadakiss. Every rapper takes their turn at a verse, and when it comes time for ‘Ye to spit, he throws in a line about rumors that he’d hurt his exes. “The media crucify me like they did Christ/ They wanna find me not breathing like they found Mike,” he spits. “A girl will run her mouth only out of spite/ But I never hit a woman, never in my life.” “A girl that run her mouth” is in reference to news that surfaced about a week ago, claiming West physically abused his ex-fiancée, Alexis Phifer, while they dated. Kanye, not a fan of interviews, decided to use his latest single to put the rumors to rest. (MTV)
Over the past few weeks, domestic abuse claims have been attached to his ex-girlfriends Amber Rose and Alexis Phifer.
The “girl [who]’ll run her mouth only out of spite” could be a reference to two ex-girlfriends of Kanye’s who have been involved in domestic abuse rumors. Every since Amber Rose was reportedly telling people that Kanye West physically abused her during their relationship, there have been rumors about Kanye’s being a woman-beater, but In Touch also reported that Alexis Phifer, Kanye’s ex-fiancée, also has similar tales to tell. An alleged inside source also recently provided details on Yeezy’s actions.
Phifer, a former model, was forced to end her 18-month engagement to West, 34, in 2008 due to his anger issues, and in one particular instance it is alleged that the rapper flipped out after Phifer confronted him about the lewd pictures of Kim Kardashian. “He said he couldn’t control who sent him photos. But then he started getting dramatic – huffing and puffing and making a big deal.” the source said. “They went outside, and Kanye pushed Alexis into some bushes with ALL HIS FORCE. She was wearing a t-shirt and she got cuts and scratches EVERYWHERE and was bleeding. She was crying. But he just left her there. He got in his car and drove away,” the source added. (Christian Post)

Decked out in leather pants, heels and a Celine bag, the reality star, 31, and the rapper, 34, browsed the racks at Balenciaga and made a stop at the popular Van Leeuwenhoek ice cream truck. “They had drinks at the Mercer Hotel Friday night, then shopped all day,” a source tells Us Weekly. And it sounded like Kardashian was having a great time. “Hi dolls! I’m so happy to be in NYC with the whole fam! Fun week! Have a good weekend guys!” she wrote to her followers on Twitter.
