Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West may have sparked some serious consideration for making a presidential run in 2020 after receiving a couple notable celebrity co-signs.

West’s in-laws Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian both boasted about Ye running for the presidency on social media last night (August 30).

Yeezy broke the big candidacy news at the MTV VMAs Sunday (August 30) night.

West made the announcement at the end of a 10-minute speech where he discussed visiting the grocery store with his daughter and admitted that he does not understand awards shows. “And yes, as you probably could’ve guessed in this moment, I’ve decided in 2020 to run for president,” West said, before walking off stage. Although endorsing Mrs. Clinton, rap veteran Snoop Dogg recently revealed he would fall back if rumors about her ending marijuana legalization were true.

“I’m not voting for the Republican Party or the Democratic Party,” Snoop told DJ Whoo Kid in an interview. “I’m voting for the Gangsta Party. [Hillary will ban all legalized marijuana when she’s elected?] Don’t say that. That’s not true because I’m endorsing her right now and if that’s the case, she’s going to get un-endorsed. [laughs] You gotta fix that sh*t, Hillary, are you listening? Huh? Is somebody in that motherf*cker listening? Chelsea? The dog? Bill? Focus, n*gga. Don’t let her go crazy.” (“Whoolywood Shuffle”)
