Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West appears no longer satisfied with collaborating alongside Atlanta's 2 Chainz and has hinted at the former Disturbin' Tha Peace member's induction into the G.O.O.D. Music family.

While merely serving as speculation at best, Yeezy and Chainz teased fans about a possible under wraps signing over the weekend.

The G.O.O.D. news just keeps coming. According to Kanye West’s Twitter page, the hip-hop star’s label group may have a new member: “2 Chainz is charging 100k for a verse now cause he’s G.O.O.D!!!!!!” 2 Chainz himself retweeted the comment, adding, “hahaaaa.” The affiliation wouldn’t be a surprise: 2 Chainz dropped one of those expensive verses on last month’s “Mercy,” the G.O.O.D. posse cut that also included Big Sean and Pusha T. A few weeks ago, Chainz and West both made an appearance on BET’s “106 & Park.”

“I feel like Kanye is the best producer in the world,” the rapper said. “The way that he sees things is just different from anyone else, so it’s just an honor to be in the studio with him at the same time and just kinda clashing worlds. My resume is filled with street credibility music, trap rap, and he kind of brings color and images to what I’m doing, so he’ll definitely be a part of my project.” (“106 & Park”)

The Atlanta rapper later explained why Yeezy gave “106 & Park” fans the silent treatment.

“That’s my dog and he doesn’t do press — he didn’t wanna do it period — and they kind of forced his hand,” 2 Chainz told MTV News of West’s “106 and Park” appearance, from the set of MTV’s “Hip Hop Squares. “I was like, ‘You don’t have to say nothing, bro,’ because at the end of the day I knew he was up there supporting me, period.” “I do a lot of things behind the scenes that people don’t know [about], and they only see [what happens] on ‘106 and Park,’ ” 2 Chainz continued. “So that would’ve been another event where they wouldn’t have known Kanye was back there, I wouldn’t have name-dropped, that would’ve been part of my process of just working hard and grinding it out.” (MTV)

If Chainz has indeed signed to G.O.O.D. Music, it would be Ye’s latest addition since recently inking rap veteran Q-Tip.

“I’m excited to be a part of the great iconic Def Jam label,” said Q-Tip in a statement April 2012. “I’m humbled to be a part of such a storied history. To reconnect with Barry Weiss is a great thing. As far as G.O.O.D. Music, I’m excited to solidify my working relationship with Kanye, and I look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead in our partnership. I will do my best to present the most cutting edge music I can.” (Statement)
