Former Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh and Juvenile reunited this weekend at Louisiana’s annual New Orleans Jazz Fest to treat fans to music from their days at the iconic label.

According to reports, Juvie performed memorable tunes like “Ha,” “Nolia Clap” and received help from Fresh for “Back That Ass Up” Saturday (April 25) evening.

Stripping off his camouflage windbreaker, Juvenile announced “I’m hot, ’cause I’m a Hot Boy.” Looking down at his midsection, the 40-year old rapper grinned and amended his comment: “Except now that I have a little stomach, I’m a hot potato.” (NOLA)

Fresh performed a few throwback tracks from Cash Money’s early days and, notably, Big Tymers hit “Still Fly.”

“This is gonna get a little personal for the out-of-town people, but just roll with us,” he said. “Because there are some people we really mess with, and they’re not here anymore, and we got to pay homage.” The crowd cheered for snippets of “Monkey on A Stick,” the radio version of the Magnolia Shorty’s 1995 Cash Money hit, and “I’ll Pay For It,” in tribute to Soulja Slim. Slim was killed in 2003; Magnolia Shorty in 2010. (NOLA)

Juvie posted up a clip from the New Orleans Jazz Fest onto Instagram this weekend.

Fresh also treated Instagram followers to clips from his Jazz Fest set.
