Louisiana rapper Juvenile’s having a tough month. The hip-hop veteran has reportedly landed back behind bars after coming to terms with a $150,000 child support debt.

According to reports, Juvie made a payout deal Monday (June 19) to secure a jail release but then still found himself in jail.

However, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies immediately picked up Gray on a warrant pertaining to an unrelated child-support case there. The warrant dates back to 2011 and accuses Gray of failing to appear in court as a defendant in a paternity and child-support lawsuit filed against him about 16 years ago. St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne said his deputies took Gray into custody at the New Orleans jail about 4:45 p.m. Monday. The St. Charles judge who signed the warrant set Gray’s bail at $2,000. (The Advocate)

A few days ago, reports surfaced about Juvenile getting arrested for his $150,000 child support case.

The “Back that Azz Up” singer was ordered to spend 30 days in jail or pay up the six figures. The whopping amount in question stems from payments that were due by Juvenile to the mother of his son, Dionne Williams, between 2012 and 2013. A ruling at the time determined Juvenile — whose real name is Terius Gray — owed $170,000 and he then paid just $20,000 of it in April. (NY Daily News)

A few months prior, Juvenile and producer Mannie Fresh announced plans to put out a joint effort with rap star Lil Wayne.

The fans demanded this, to them it’s iconic,” says Mannie. “It’s necessary that y’all come back and do this album, and even show the planet that whatever was going on with us we can get over that.” Juvenile adds, “We already got some features.” (AHH)
